What information does the Fit Family collect?
It is Fit Together’s general policy to collect only information that the website user knowingly provides. In addition, the following information is routinely collected for all visits and is recorded in a log file:

For general users / visitors
Fit Family does not collect any personal identifying information from users who browse the public areas of the Fit Family website other than those data elements listed above. Users browse anonymously. Fit Family does not review the use of the site by individual users unless that particular use:
- Is directly relevant to troubleshooting technical or content issues
- Attempts to violate security on the hosting networks
- Degrades overall website performance
- Is related to potential copyright violations
For the Personal Health Assessment features:
There is a separate Privacy Policy for the Personal Health Assessment which visitors will have to agree to before they can access the form.

What about external relationships?
This Fit Family website is linked to other websites (supported by other organizations) for specific related content. Fit Family does not control the collection of information by these organizations on their websites. Users linking to other organizations’ websites will be governed by their Privacy Policies presented on those websites. This includes websites where no stated Privacy policy may exist or be displayed.
How are cookies employed on the Fit Family website?
Cookies may be used to identify a user. Fit Family may use “session cookies” to provide greater functionality and improve technical performance.
“Persistent cookies” are not employed.
